Jason Alexander is the General Manager of Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Jason is responsible for leading the Lodging and Food & Beverage operation of the AAA Three Diamond 481 room hotel, with additional responsibility for the Recreation and Disney Dining operations for the Disneyland® Resort.
Having joined The Walt Disney Company in 1996, Jason has 15 years of experience at the Resort. His career began in Operations as an Attractions Assistant Manager, working with Cast Members in the areas of leadership and systems development. Since that time, he has held various positions including Resort Stage Manager; Hotel Training Manager, Resort Hotels; and most recently, Hotel Manager, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa.
Throughout his career, Jason has led efforts to globally train over 1,000 salaried leaders in Housekeeping, Bell Services/Valet Services, and Food and Beverage lines of business. Jason has created development opportunities for salaried leaders through the Leadership in Action industry speaker series, and facilitated classes and programs aimed at developing salaried and hourly leaders on the subjects of Leadership, Systems Thinking and Serving Diverse Guests.
Jason is an active member of Disney VoluntEARS and was honored as a Spirit of Disneyland recipient representing Cast Excellence.
Jason is a graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration.
