RoseMarie Sutton Holt

RoseMarie Sutton has worked for over 23 years in the tourism/hospitality industry. She has worked with corporations and individuals throughout the world. Her expertise is tour and travel marketing as well as guest service training. Her management positions at the Grand Canyon National Park, Sea World, MarineWorld Africa USA, Marriott and Hyatt Hotels has given her the opportunity to market and promote to all segments of the hospitality industry. Her experience as a professional whitewater river guide and ski guide allows her to be a consultant to some of the top adventure companies in the industry. RoseMarie grew up with the mountains and the ocean in beautiful Southern California. Her adventurous up bringing allowed her to experience the many aspects of the tourism industry at a young age. She put herself through college as a concierge and an animal trainer at Long Beach State and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marine Biology.

RoseMarie was fortunate to be on the fast track with her career. Her sales and marketing career began at Marineland with three promotions and exceeding sales goals she moved and assisted in opening Sea World of Texas she then enhanced her guest service skills as Director of Guest Services for a 1,000 room Marriott. Her love of California brought her to MarineWorld Africa USA for 8years as Director of Travel Marketing where she increased tourism attendance over 30%. She opened Sutton & Associates in July of 1997 with associates in Canada and Australia specializing in tourism marketing and guest service training. Her love of nature brought her to the Grand Canyon as Director of Marketing for a year, overseeing sales, marketing, public relations, and advertising. Upon her return to California she renewed her consulting contracts with World Holidays, Embarcadero Center in San Francisco, California State Office of Tourism, Premiere Adventures, City Pass representing seven major cities and over 42 different attractions, US Women’s Whitewater Rafting team, Sports Leisure Vacations, Mendocino County Travel Alliance and assist in the planning and implementation of many special events

RoseMarie is based in Sparks, NV with associates in Belgium, Southern California, Northern California, Washington, Australia and Canada. Sutton & Associates specialize in tourism development with a wide variety of services. Sales, marketing, group sales training, domestic and international tradeshow representation, tour escorting, special events, team building, guest service training, translation services, brochure development and printing.
