Tim Ryan joined the Pebble Beach Resorts in August of 1990 as Director of Sales and currently serves as Vice President of Sales. His responsibilities are for Sales, Conference Services - Catering, and Group Room, Golf, and Spa Reservations. He also serves on the Sales and Marketing Committee which guides the companies long term branding and marketing strategies.
Tim is one of the few resort industry professionals who's had the opportunity to lead the sales effort at a world class resort and the corporate hospitality sales and/or servicing efforts for special events such as the U.S. Open Golf Championship, ATT Pebble Beach National ProAm and the Concours d' Elegance. He's recognized throughout the industry as a dynamic leader who is committed to building enthusiastic and productive teams.
Before being recruited to Pebble Beach, Tim was National Sales Manager on the pre opening team of the Scottsdale Princess Resort from 1987-1990. He was responsible for developing new accounts from the Association and Incentive markets. Prior to this position Tim ascended the ranks of the Westin Hotels Houston Sales Team. After joining the team in 1984 as Sales Manager he earned the promotion to National Sales Manager based on his selling achievements and his success at developing leads for other Westin properties.
Tim graduated with a BS in Business from the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, PA.
