As the Deputy City Manager of Civic and Cultural Services for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, Elisa Cox oversees the Community Services and Library Services Departments as well as the City Manager's and City Clerk's Offices. She administers and directs interdepartmental and city-wide projects and participates as an integral champion of Team RC - the City's organizational development initiative emphasizing personal and professional growth.
Before joining team RC in 2016, Elisa served as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Sierra Madre, where she oversaw the administrative activities and operations for the City. Elisa has also served in the roles of Director of Human Resources and Director of Community & Personnel Services. She has extensive experience in Community Services, Library Services, Human Resources, Budget, and Community Engagement. Elisa has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she now serves on the Advisory Council and was presented with the 2011 Honored Alumnae designation.
